"SPLASH EDITION"

The other night I did a show at The Red Cat Cafe. Every Monday Night they host a show called Late Night Latte. Four talented ladies host this wonderful show. This night they did a tribute to SPLASH, which is an event for the Gay and Lesbian community. They have one every year.

The crowd was a really receptive crowd. They participated and encouraged all the performers. My comedy set was a hit, and made some new fans. I was at home thinking about the show and reflecting back on the gay and lesbian crowd. Many of them say they were born gay but no one really knows. Well that is my conclusion. I really got to thinking....

Life is funny, when I was a kid, my parents told me to play with girls. If they weren't your cousin, then you need to find a little girl to play with or play alone. I know plenty of parents who dint want their kids playing with the opposite sex because it leads to Tomboy's and Tomgirls. Tomboy for those who don't know is, a girl who exhibits some characteristics of the gender role of a boy. So you can only imagine what a Tomboy is. lol... Parents, while you worried about the Tomboy/Tomgirl phase and trying to keep them separate, your kids are playing together. Yall are worried that the boys are gonna get your little girls, when it seens to be the other way around. Yall sleeping on these little girls. Seems now a days girls are becoming intrigued with one another and "experimenting". I have heard many men/women say they started experimenting as young as 10 and 11. I'm sorry, but if you are having any type of sexual relation that young, that is molestation to me. To me it seems that homosexuality is turning into an epidemic, and is spreading faster than HIV/AIDS. I know people who have been into the same gender since they were kids, and I know some people who casually frequent the same sex. This lifestyle is something that is definitely becoming more popular and that is perfectly fine, but be prepared to deal with everything that comes with it.

I love my Gay/Lesbian Community but dang, yall make it hard for some...lol

I love this new track by Alicia Keys. Listening to these lyrics could this be the story behind the scandal of her and Swiss Beats. They did get together when he was married 'alledgedly'. Are they trying to be the next power couple? Maybe the next Bey and Jay-Z. Is it gonna be A and S now? I dont know, but the more I listen to these lyrics her confession is there on a beat he most likely produced lol. I just hope she knows that a relationship built on B.S. will most definatrly end on the same B.S. So Ms. Keys I hope you ready for the drama that will eventually follow behind you getting with a married man. Let's see how long he will date his sideline before he marries her. Which he probaly won't lol!!!!

I did a little research and found out that the rapper Drake actually wrote the song. Hhhmmm who could he have been talking about. maybe he was was writing based on what he was seeing in the studio... Beautiful song, I wish for the best with this happy new couple.
